Expense Tracker for Philippine Stores: every gastos logged, every day balanced
Zobaze POS is a free billing app for stores in the Philippines with a built-in expense tracker, on Android. Log any expense in seconds with its amount, category and a note: the paninda restock, the ice delivery, the kuryente bill, a helper's sahod. Every entry has a date, so kahapon's gastos can still go on kahapon. Your staff can add expenses from their own login, and Reports puts spending beside your benta, so you know your real kita instead of guessing it. It all works offline, in the same app you bill from.

Benta and gastos together, so the day adds up
Staff log the small gastos from their phone; it lands in the same Cashbook
Start tracking store gastos in four steps
From download to a Cashbook that finally matches the cash box, with no training and no computer.
Download Zobaze POS and open Income & Expenses
Install the free app from Google Play, set up your store, and open Income & Expenses from the menu. That's your Cashbook: gastos on one side, cash in on the other.
Log today's gastos
Enter the amount, pick a category like Supplies, Salary, Bill or Transportation, and add a note. Missed a day? Set the entry's date to the day it actually happened.
Give staff their own login
On the Premium plan, each staff member gets their own login, so whoever pays the supplier or the ice delivery records it on the spot. You see every entry in the same Cashbook.
Check the day before you close
Open Reports at the end of the day to see benta next to gastos, with a simple sales-minus-expenses figure for the period. No more totalling a notebook by flashlight.

Store expense tracking: frequently asked questions
Logging gastos
Yes. Every entry carries its own date, so kahapon's ice delivery can still be recorded on kahapon even if you log it today. The week still adds up day by day, which is what makes the Cashbook worth keeping.
Partly. You tag each entry with a category like Supplies, Salary, Bill or Transportation, and the Cashbook lists entries with their categories by date. The app does not yet show a total per category, so treat categories as labels on the list rather than a category-wise report.
For everyday record-keeping, yes. You get a dated cash book: gastos on one side, cash in on the other, next to your benta in Reports, which is the daily bookkeeping most sari-sari stores actually need. It is not accounting software and not BIR-accredited, so formal books for tax filing still come from your accountant; Zobaze keeps the daily record that makes those easier.
No. Your counter sales live in the billing screens and Reports, and Income & Expenses is a separate Cashbook for money outside the bill: gastos going out, and cash coming in like puhunan you add or a loan you receive. Reports is where the two meet, showing benta next to gastos for the period.
Staff & control
Yes. On the Premium plan each staff member gets their own login, and they can record an expense from their phone the moment they spend, whether it's ice, paninda or a bill. Every entry lands in the one shared Cashbook that you see. There's no separate approval step, so it suits a store where the owner checks the book daily.
No. Zobaze POS is a billing app with a simple daily Cashbook, not accounting software and not BIR-accredited. Its printout is a simple sales receipt, hindi ito BIR Official Receipt, so gamitin ito bilang benta record, hindi bilang tax receipt, and treat the Cashbook the same way: your own daily record of gastos and cash in, not a tax or regulatory document. For BIR filing, your accountant works from their own books; Zobaze keeps the daily record that makes that easier.
It shows a simple figure: sales minus expenses for the period, plus a per-item margin when you set puhunan (cost price) on items. That is a daily pulse, not a true net profit statement, because it doesn't account for stock value or taxes. For most small stores it answers the real question: kumita ba ang tindahan today?
Offline & plans
Yes. Entries save on the phone even with no signal and sync to the cloud at least once a day when you're back online, the same way billing does. A weak network never decides whether the gastos gets written down.
Yes. Income and expense entries are part of the free plan, alongside unlimited billing and up to 100 items. The free plan shows the last 7 days of reports; Premium unlocks the full history plus staff logins, so staff can add gastos from their own phones. Check current Premium pricing in the app.
